At J.P. Morgan I worked as a digital designer and split my time between working on jpmorgan.com and the social media team. On jpmorgan.com, I designed the articles for the Research Insights section, starting from wireframes, and using J.P. Morgan’s components and style guidelines to create the visuals that also aligned with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG).

When I joined J.P. Morgan, I noticed that the component library was not completely standardized and in some instances did not adhere to WCAG. During my time, I decided the work to standardize the components to a grid and modified the colors to have an adequate contrast ratio for accessibility.

WeChat Design System

The J.P. Morgan team in China reached out that they wanted a branded series of components for their WeChat. I created the following system, taking in cultural considerations and feedback to heavily focus on using a gold color and limit the “J.P. Morgan teal” as it did not have a good meaning in China.
